Traditional Mattress

Most traditional mattresses only provide one level of firmness throughout. Firm mattresses provide support for your back but your hips and shoulders (the key pressure points) 'dig' into the mattress as there is insufficient give in the core structure resulting in discomfort and interrupted sleep. Alternatively medium mattresses provide insufficient support for your lower back and neck which may lead to back pain and possible long term muscular and spinal damage.

I'm a side sleeper and always have a hand in my pillow, so usually I will wake up with a numb hand and some neck aches. DPM pillow did help as it is high enough, I don't need to tuck my hand under. It really takes a while to get used to it as it is a not a common gradient pillow! I'm loving it now as it gives the the plush I like and the high sides for my side sleeping!
